What the app uses

Your profile describes the instruments you play, musical interests, goals, approximate location, availability, and any links or photo you choose to add. A hosted account also uses your email address for sign-in and your email preferences. Connections, messages, jam proposals, reports, blocks, and optional meeting feedback support the features you use.

Who can see it

Published profiles are visible to eligible signed-in members. Drafts remain private. We use city-level location for discovery; you do not need to enter a home address. Messages and exact jam details are restricted to the conversation participants. Reports are available to authorized moderators, and meeting feedback is private.

Blocking prevents further contact and removes mutual discovery. Another person may already have read or saved information you shared. A photo link that was already issued may remain accessible for up to a minute.

Services involved

When the hosted service is configured, Supabase handles accounts, database records, and photo storage. Vercel hosts the web app, and Resend can send sign-in and product emails. The local demo operates without these hosted account services. The app uses cookies for sessions and does not include advertising trackers or session replay.

Your choices

You can edit or unpublish your profile, change email preferences, block or report members, and request deletion in Settings. Deletion immediately removes your account from discovery and contact; the configured background worker then removes hosted identity and photo files. Authored message text is replaced with a neutral deletion marker. Backup retention depends on the eventual hosting configuration and is not finalized for this preview.
