Respect the invitation

Send thoughtful introductions. A declined request or unanswered message is not an invitation to keep pursuing someone. Respect boundaries, scheduling commitments, and blocks. Harassment, discrimination, threats, sexual solicitation, and spam are not welcome.

Keep personal details personal

Do not publish another person’s contact information or share private messages without permission. Your public profile needs only an approximate area; agree on specific meeting details privately.

Plan the first jam together

Choose a rehearsal studio or another mutually agreed space. Discuss the music, timing, equipment, accessibility needs, and any rehearsal costs beforehand. Consider telling someone you trust where you are going. Email verification is not a background check.

Speak up when something is wrong
